Divergent (Review)

Divergent (Review)

!Spoiler Alert!

This popular book has definitely lived up to its name. Divergent written by Veronica Roth, is an enticing book that captivates the reader with its action and also romance. The main character, Tris or Beatrice Prior is a risk-taking,independent girl.

Spoiler Alert! After picking Dauntless Tris has embraced her spontaneous side rather than the predictable "Stiff" life she tired of. Choosing Dauntless, left an uprising and the beginning of a soon to be revolution. Later we are introduced to Four, who is Tris' trainer through Dauntless initiation.

If I were to rate Divergent I would give it 5/5 stars because
This book is truly amazing and lives up to the saying, "the book is ALWAYS better," the detail Roth goes through to describe the corrupt world, when Abnegation and Erudite have conflicting plans for the society and how each faction believes the government should be run. There are trusting friends, romances, a power seeking character, and loss. All ingredients to make for a beautiful book, and the start of a groundbreaking trilogy. Next up, is Insurgent!!!
