Divergent

Divergent

I have just started reading, the well known and very popular book, Divergent. The first installment of the Divergent trilogy. Unfortunately I have seen the movie so, it is confusing for me because the movie is not completely accurate to the book. So far, I am at the part where Beatrice is about to choose which faction she wants to belong in. Whether she picks Abnenegation with her parents and have her life chosen for her, or Dauntless and take risks and be "daunting". The choice is truly in her hands. The resolution of the main character's problem is that she does not know were she belongs and I think this will be expressed throughout the book, since she doesn't really fit in a set faction. She is Divergent.

Here is the trailer for the movie, even though I highly recommend for you to read the book first, as I wish I would have done.

Relish (Review)

Relish

By: Lucy Knisley

The book, Relish has been one of the most fascinating, hysterical books I have ever read. I would definitely recommend this book for people who enjoy reading comic books or books with pictures. I have never read this style of writing and it was definitely refreshing and unique. Also people who have a passion for food and love to cook this is the book for you. This book will take you on the journey of the author, Lucy Knisley as she truly grew up surrounded by food. It captivates you and is overall a good-feel book!
If I were to rate this book I would give it 5/5 stars, I cannot think of one wrong thing I didn't like about the book, its a hilarious book that is an easy read. It gives you pointers on cooking and different recipes, also a unique element about the book is that every chapter is based off of a recipe that has impacted her life and growing up. Go check out this book now!!! Read ALL about it!
